Today,
I taught six children how to:
Tell the time,
Count up their pocket money.
Share pizza, cake and pie fairly,
Write today's date,
The friends of Ten.
And what an octopus and octagon have in common.
Then,
Had a meeting where we discussed:
Teaching times tables,
Solving problems with multiple steps,
The confusion students have with fractions and decimals,
And how to develop an understanding of Base Ten.
