It's a remarkable thing.
So useful,
And fun too.
I really can't explain,
My great desire,
To carry about my person,
Pieces of string.
I love the honesty of jute.
The security of paracord.
The comfort of wool,
Creativity of cotton.
I like to hold it in my hand.
Manipulate it,
And create useful objects.
The mathematical beauty,
Within the multitude of knots.
Knit, crochet and weave new fabric.
And when I have the time and space,
I also like to hitch, lash and knot,
Rope.
